Jason Ringenberg - Musician (Leicester) 2007
In April 2007 I got involved in shooting a promotional photo-shoot for Jason Ringenberg in Leicester's Musician venue.
This shoot produced my first photo credit, for the first of a few shots that I've contributed to Jason's press kit on his website.
We were working on a small budget, and trying to create a backdrop effect along the lines of a Western music-hall curtain. Unfortunatey the lighting in the venue wasn't strong enough to add the colour we wanted without being 'drowned' by the two stand-mounted strobes. However some of the shots, especially shot without the strobes, allowed me to get closer to our intended look in post-processing.
