Jason Ringenberg - Nashville 2007 : In June 2007, along with my friend Paul from Mohawk Visuals, I travelled to Nashville TN - in part to carry out a photo shoot for Jason Ringenberg. Jason is the vocalist with Jason & the Scorchers, and a solo performer in his own right. The shoot produced the cover for Jason's "Best of..." CD (from Paul's output) an a photo credit for myself with a shot for Jason's 'press kit' on his website. As usual, with what I'm posting here, I've played with a mixture of styles in post processing.

Jason & The Scorchers, Leicester (UK) 2008 : In 2008 - for the first time in a decade - 'Cow Punk' pioneers Jason and The Scorchers (with a new rhythm section) went out on the road. Landing in the UK, following solo dates, Jason Ringeberg met up with the rest of the band (who had been touring Warner Hodges' solo material). Jason Ringenberg - Musician (Leicester) 2007 : In April 2007 I got involved in shooting a promotional photo-shoot for Jason Ringenberg in Leicester's Musician venue. This shoot produced my first photo credit, for the first of a few shots that I've contributed to Jason's press kit on his website. We were working on a small budget, and trying to create a backdrop effect along the lines of a Western music-hall curtain. Unfortunatey the lighting in the venue wasn't strong enough to add the colour we wanted without being 'drowned' by the two stand-mounted strobes. However some of the shots, especially shot without the strobes, allowed me to get closer to our intended look in post-processing.
